The new Gateway Education Laboratory and the Discovery-enriched Curriculum Labs set up at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) will facilitate interactive learning activities for students.
 
The labs are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including 3D printers, a digital show-and-tell studio, a scanning electron microscope, and 40-inch interactive table panels. Easily arrangeable tables and chairs as well as wireless computing devices have also been installed.
 
During the tour, Professor Cheng Shuk Han, Director of CityU’s Office of Education Development and Gateway Education, and Dr Andy Chun Hon-wai, CityU’s Chief Information Officer, will discuss how these new learning spaces will help students put their ideas to practice. In addition, students will explain how they have benefited from using the labs’ cutting-edge equipment.
