The Painting and Calligraphy Society of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) will hold its first ever exhibition in Hong Kong, showcasing 120 artworks by 14 academicians under the theme “Science and Art – Integration of Scientific Reasoning and Artistic Minds”. The exhibition is part of the celebrations for the 15th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to China. It also aims to help students better understand the importance of integrating science and technology with art as well as enhance their knowledge about traditional Chinese art and culture.
The exhibition is co-organised by City University of Hong Kong and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Officiating guests at the opening ceremony will include:
