Event: The 6th Hong Kong Underwater Robot Challenge

At the 6th Hong Kong Underwater Robot Challenge at City University of Hong Kong on 10 April, around 15 secondary school teams will deploy self-made robotic submarines to contain an oil spill in a simulation of the BP accident in the Gulf of Mexico last year.

New attractions this year include an underwater treasure hunt for junior secondary school students and related games for primary school students.

The winners of the main contest will compete against international teams from 19 regions at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston in June.
