(Transportation will be provided between CityU and Ma Wan. Please gather at CityU’s University Circle on or before 9:15am)

City University of Hong Kong (CityU) will organise Social Responsibility Day on 12 February to raise awareness about environmental problems and promote more socially responsible behaviour in the community.

The Hon Leung Chun-ying, Council Chairman of CityU, and Professor Way Kuo, University President, will join about 200 Council members, staff, students, alumni and children from social service organisations to clear parasitic plants and weeds in Ma Wan Park, clean up the nearby Tung Wan Beach, and organise an eco-tour in Ma Wan.

The media is welcome to cover the event. For those attending, please arrive at University Circle on or before 9:15am for departure to Ma Wan.
