The Department of Electronic Engineering at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) is developing an e-book designed for secondary and primary students. The CityBook project responds to a need put forward by government to promote e-learning and has gained the support of the industry.

Professor Man Kim-fung, Head of the Department of Electronic Engineering, and Mr Patrick Lo from Varitronix Group, an industry partner in the project, will be present. There will be a chance to see an initial prototype of the e-book and a demonstration of some of the interactive programmes at the event.
