The Department of Management of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) will announce the findings of its survey on Employee Confidence, Work Commitment and Work Values tomorrow (5 May).

More than 500 Hong Kong residents in full-time employment were polled in the survey conducted from March to April 2010. Also examined were the various views of the post-1980 generation and other age groups on work values and job opportunities.

The research aims to enhance employers’ understanding of employees’ attitudes, needs and work commitment, and to collect information for policy-making in human resources management.
