The Department of Management Sciences at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) will announce tomorrow (31 March) the findings of the CityU–Hong Kong Consumer Satisfaction Index (CityU–HKCSI) 2009 and review the five-year trends.

CityU–HKCSI, a performance indicator for Hong Kong businesses, measures consumer satisfaction with the quality of products (goods and services) purchased in Hong Kong. Since 1997, the CityU research team has collected views from more than 10,000 interviewees each year using a computer-assisted telephone interview system. The 2009 survey was carried out from June to August last year, with 13,057 interviews conducted.
