Closing Ceremony of Legal Programme for Chinese Senior Judges

City University of Hong Kong (CityU) School of Law cordially invites you or your representative to attend the closing ceremony of the Second Advanced Programme for Chinese Senior Judges on 29 January.

The programme is a full-time course specifically designed for Chinese senior judges and is organised by CityU School of Law and the National Judges College of the Supreme People’s Court of China. The programme had the generous support of donor Philip K H Wong Foundation and Philip K H Wong, Kennedy Y H Wong & Co.

Thirty-four elite Chinese senior judges from various mainland provinces participated in the 2010 Advanced Programme. They took part in the programme from 7 January to 29 January. This programme gave the Chinese judges an understanding of the common law system and international legal concepts with special regard to case law. The judges also visited judicial institutions and exchanged views with local legal fraternity.
