and City University of Hong Kong
The City University of Hong Kong (CityU) School of Law (SLW) is to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). It is the first MoU of its kind UNITAR has signed with a university in Hong Kong. The two institutions will work closely to develop a modern education environment, deploying the latest methodologies as well as exploring further areas of potential cooperation in education and research. UNITAR was established in 1965 as an autonomous body within the United Nations with the mandate of enhancing the effectiveness of the work of the United Nations and its member states in the fields of environment, governance and peace and security, and further on with the aim of supporting the achievements of the Millennium Development Goals.
