Heads, management, academicians and educators from the Hong Kong higher education sector will gather at City University of Hong Kong for a one-day symposium organised by the Heads of Universities Committee. The purpose of the symposium is to enhance awareness and seek support from university academic and administrative staff in promoting and sustaining internationalisation. Keynote speeches:
10:15am – 11:15am “Global Trends / Perspectives in International Student Movement” by Professor Fazal Rizvi from the Department of Educational Policy Studies at University of Illinois
2pm – 3pm “Internationalising the Campus – Profile of Success at Colleges and Universities” by Dr David Horner, Director Emeritus of the Office of International Students and Scholars at Michigan State University
Panel discussion:
3:30pm – 5:15pm “The Development of an Educational Hub: Experience and Prospects”
