City University of Hong Kong (CityU) School of Law cordially invites you or your representative to attend the eminent speakers lecture hosted by The Hon Ronald Arculli who will speak on the topic of global financial reform, on 11 September 2009.
Approaching the first anniversary of the financial tsunami, governments are looking for new ways to rebuild healthy financial markets. There is a much heated discussion on regulatory systems and corporate governance in the market and among professionals. How do professional legal practitioners overcome the challenges of global financial reform? This lecture will provide insight into this complex and compelling topic.
The Hon Ronald Arculli was called to the English and Hong Kong Bars in 1961. In November 2005, CityU conferred on Mr Arculli an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Social Science. He is a Non-official Member of the Executive Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and Chairman of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited.
