Closing Ceremony of Advanced Programme for Chinese Senior Judges

 

City University of Hong Kong (CityU) School of Law cordially invites you or your representative to attend the closing ceremony of the Advanced Programme for Chinese Senior Judges on 19 June 2009.

 

Twenty-eight elite Chinese senior judges from various mainland provinces took part in the first Advanced Programme for Chinese Senior Judges organised by CityU School of Law and the National Judges College of the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China from May 2009. The programme had the generous support of donor JSM.

 

The pioneering programme is a customised local legal programme for top-level judges from mainland China. During the four-week advanced programme, the judges studied the common law system, in particular the function and operation of case law. They also attended interactive video-link lessons held by scholars from the School of Law of Columbia University in the US.
