for Chinese Judges
The School of Law of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) will hold the Inauguration of the Master of Laws (LLM) Programme for Chinese Judges on 22 January 2009.
This is the first systematic and customised postgraduate legal education programme for Chinese judges under the tripartite arrangement by CityU, the National Judges College of the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China and the School of Law of Columbia University, US. It is also the first time that the China’s legal authorities have organised a group of Chinese judges to further their legal studies outside the Mainland.
At the function, representatives from CityU, the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China and Columbia University will deliver keynote speeches.
