To help children of bereaved and single parent families build up a positive view towards life, a group of students from the Department of Applied Social Studies of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) initiated the Project KidSing to draw upon the concerted efforts of different sectors of society to offer them the support and care.

 

The project is co-organised by CityU, Disney VoluntEARS and the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) Jockey Club Lei Tung Integrated Services Centre. More than 40 children and their family members will attend the event which features Disney-style performance to bring colour and fun to the participants. 

 

Also attending will be CityU’s Professor Alex Kwan Yui-huen, Head of the Department of Applied Social Studies, Mr B C Lo, Vice President of Public Affairs, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, and Ms Constance Chang Wing-yi, Assistant Supervisor of TWGHs Jockey Club Lei Tung Integrated Services Centre.

 

A courtesy lunch will be arranged after the performances. Friends from the media are invited to attend.
