Press Briefing of Elder Academy at CityU

We would like to invite you to cover the following event:

City University of Hong Kong (CityU) recently established the Elder Academy, with the support of the Elderly Commission. Limited spaces are available with different academic units on some undergraduate courses in the 2008-2009 academic year. With the help of various public and educational sectors and the advice from people of different generations, the Elder Academy encourages the elderly to continue learning, taking care of their well-being and maintaining a sense of worthiness. It also promotes inter-generational solidarity and cross-sector collaboration on issues affecting the elderly.

Dr Leong Che-hung, GBS, JP, Chairman of Elderly Commission, and Professor Lilian Vrijmoed Kwan Lee-ping, Dean of Student Learning of CityU, will provide details of the Elder Academy during the press briefing.
