City University of Hong Kong (CityU) will launch the Guy Carpenter Asia-Pacific Climate Impact Centre at a ceremony to be held on 16 June (Monday) in appreciation of the support of donor, Guy Carpenter & Company. The Centre, which will serve as the regional hub for climate research, aims to enhance understanding of climate-related threats in the Asia-Pacific region.

Officiating guests at the ceremony include Professor Way Kuo, President of CityU, and Mr Britt Newhouse, Chairman of Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC. An overview of the Centre will be presented by Professor Johnny Chan Chung-leung, Director of the Centre.
