City Literary Festival－Opening Ceremony and Symposium

We would like to invite you to cover the following event:

The opening ceremony and symposium of the third City Literary Festival, organised by City University of Hong Kong (CityU), will be held on 18 April 2008. Eleven prominent writers, Mr Bei Dao, Mr Li Rui, Professor Lee Oufan, Mr Chang Ta-chuan, Mr Lu Hao, Mr Liu Wai-tong, Mr Yan Lianke, Professor Liu Zaifu, Professor Lau Shiu-ming, Professor Cheng Chou-yu and Professor Chung Ling, are invited as guest speakers of the symposium.

The theme of this year’s Festival is “City Movement” and is sponsored by The Robert H N Ho Family Foundation. Among the numerous activities is the City Literary Awards writing competition. All entries will be published in a book. Moreover, local and well-known overseas writers will discuss their thoughts about writing at a number of seminars in Hong Kong and Macau.
