“Global Stadium 2008” promotes intercultural experience
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHS) of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) held “Global Stadium 2008” on 16 January to promote intercultural experience among local and exchange students by highlighting different sports activities played in universities worldwide.
Under the theme “Connecting the World through Sports”, the event united exchange students from all over the world and enhanced cross-cultural awareness in a fun way. The FHS International Exchange Programme allows students to gain a more global perspective in their learning and the Faculty has developed exchange programmes with more than 30 overseas universities in
