An exhibition of masterpieces of Chinese painting and calligraphy, to be held in Hong Kong at the end of June, has become the talk of the town. Lectures for secondary school teachers and the public on appreciating these masterpieces will be organized by the Chinese Civilization Centre (CCIV) of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on

18 June (Monday).

 

Mr Szeto Yuen-kit, Curator of Hong Kong Museum of Art (Xubaizhai Gallery) will share with the audience the stories behind arranging the exhibition, which includes world-renowned paintings such as Along the River during the Qingming Festival.

 

Professor Cheng Pei-kai, Director of the CCIV, will deliver an opening address

This event is part of a range of activities initiated by the CCIV on teaching and learning art and culture.
