An award presentation ceremony will be held on 31 May to honour students from the Department of Marketing in City University of Hong Kong (CityU) for their outstanding performances conducting marketing consultancy projects for a number of local and multinational companies between January and April this year. Altogether 97 final-year students were involved.
Professor Zhou Nan, Head of the Department of Marketing at CityU; Mr Arthur Chan-Man, Chairman of Departmental Advisory Committee in the Department of Marketing; and representatives from participating companies will officiate at the ceremony. These companies include California Red Limited; eBay International Hong Kong Limited; FORTRESS, KOSÉ (Hong Kong) Company Limited; Lee Kum Kee (Hong Kong) Limited; The Prudential Assurance Company Limited; and South China Morning Post Publishers Limited.
In addition, the Outstanding Active Learner Awards will be presented to encourage students from all years to participate in learning through real-life experience. Student representatives from the winning team will meet with the media.
