BuiltExpo 2007 Opening Ceremony

We would like to invite you to cover the following event:

Reusing energy and enhancing the efficiency of air-conditioning systems in buildings are just a couple of the innovative energy conservation measures to be showcased at BuiltExpo 2007 from 20 to 21 April.

BuiltExpo 2007 is an annual event organized by the Division of Building Science and Technology at City University of Hong Kong (CityU). The theme this year is “Building Innovation”. The aim is to promote creativity in building design and construction. About 100 projects designed by final-year students from the Division of Building Science and Technology will be exhibited.

Officiating guests at the Opening Ceremony include Professor the Honourable Patrick Lau Sau-shing, a member of the Legislative Council (Architectural, Surveying and Planning Functional Constituency); Professor David Tong Shuk-yin, CityU’s Deputy President; and Mr Pau Shiu-hung, Chairman of Divisional Advisory Committee, Division of Building Science and Technology.
