The Run Run Shaw Library of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) has acquired two highly valuable collections of Chinese classics written by Korean scholars. The 3,000 volumes date from the modern period to ancient times and form an important area of study for the history and culture of both China and Korea. They will be a useful addition to the development of the new general education curriculum of the University.

Media guests will have the opportunity to view the two collections at an exhibition which is scheduled to open on Tuesday 3 April. The guest speakers will discuss the academic significance of the two collections and their influences upon cultural exchange and world civilization studies.

Details of the “Classical Korean Works in Chinese and Cultural Exchange” event will be announced at the media session.
