Mr. Liang Xiangdong, City University of Hong Kong (CityU) Candidate for Master of Philosophy in Applied Mathematics, has been awarded full scholarships by world-class universities MIT, US Berkeley and Oxford for his further studies towards a Doctorate in Philosophy. MIT only enrolls 8 new doctoral (Ph.D.) students worldwide each year.

Mr. Liang finds studying mathematics rewarding and says “there is much joy in it”. His ideas may be a source of inspiration for other students. He will share with the press how he finds fulfillment in learning, responds to receiving the scholarships and succeeds in applying for admissions.
