4th Hong Kong Joint Primary School Mathematics Competition Awards Presentation Ceremony

We would like to invite you to cover the following event:

The 4th Joint Primary School Mathematics Competition, co-organized by City University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Association for Science and Mathematics Education and secondary schools from 18 districts in Hong Kong, is coming to an end, and an awards presentation ceremony will be held on 3 March.

This year the competition has expanded to 18 districts and is the largest mathematics contest of its kind in Hong Kong. The organizers will evaluate student performance and a report will be sent to the Education and Manpower Bureau for reference.

After the ceremony, Professor Henry Chung Shu-hung, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, will discuss with the media some strengths and weaknesses of the mathematics skills of local primary school students. In addition, student representatives from the winning teams will meet with the media.
