CityU’s 2006 Congregation

City University of Hong Kong (CityU) is holding its 2006 Congregation from 9 to 15 November. Chief Executive Donald Tsang Yum-kuen, Chancellor of CityU, will confer honorary doctorates on the following prominent individuals at the 11th session, which will be held on 15 November.

n             Mr Liu Changle, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Satellite Television Holdings Ltd. – Honorary Doctor of Letters;

n             Mr Xu Guanhua, Minister of Science and Technology of China – Honorary Doctor of Science; and

n             Professor Rosie Tse-tse Young, Honorary Professor in medicine at the University of Hong Kong – Honorary Doctor of Science.

In addition, a session will be arranged for the media to meet some of CityU’s outstanding graduates from this year.
