Established by the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) of City University of Hong Kong in 2002, the Co-operative Centre has provided FSE students with many internship opportunities in local, mainland and overseas organizations. During the 2005-06 school-year, 28 FSE students were selected to join the “Internship Programme for Exchange Students”. They had their internships in seven overseas countries and three mainland cities during the summer vacation.
The following participants will be sharing their internship experience and presenting their achievements:
² A participant from the Department of Building and Construction on what he has learnt about the latest construction technology in mainland
² A participant from the Department of Biology and Chemistry on how she was inspired by the local environmental protection measures in
² A participant from the Department of Physics and Materials Sciences on how she applied her knowledge to conducting tests on materials for making Siemens’ products. She took the internship in
² A participant from the Department of Electronic Engineering on how he applied technology on various new media creations during his internship at a new media research and development centre in Canada;
