The Department of Management Sciences, City University of Hong Kong, and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong will announce the findings of the 2005 Hong Kong Sustainable Development Index on 16 June.

 

The survey was conducted from October 2005 to February 2006. More than 2,000 Hong Kong citizens aged 18 or above were interviewed by phone. They were asked to rate the level of importance and performance in ten pre-selected areas such as economy, education, environmental protection and human rights in terms of achieving and sustaining quality of life in Hong Kong.
