“Exhibition on Smart Ambience Therapy (SAT)” at CityU

City University of Hong Kong (CityU) hosted the opening ceremony of the “Exhibition on Smart Ambience Therapy (SAT)” today (14 June) at the CityU Gallery. The aim of the Exhibition is to open up new directions for future collaboration among stakeholders and clients using SAT technology. The Exhibition will last from 14 June to 25 June and it is open to the general public.

Background:

SAT is a pioneering inter-disciplinary collaboration between CityU’s Centre of Innovative Applications of Internet and Multimedia Technologies (AIMtech Centre) and the Department of Computer Science plus art therapists from the Hong Kong Association of Art Therapists (HKAAT). The technology has been used in the therapy of young people who have suffered physical and emotional abuse and can benefit a variety of client groups such as professional therapists and rehabilitation centres.
