CEPU Visits HKCML to Explore Opportunities for Collaboration and Policy Input
On Wednesday July 2 2025, Deputy Head of the Chief Executive’s Policy Unit (CEPU) Mr. Nicholas KWAN, along with his colleagues Dr. Rita MENG and Mr. Edward CHOI, held talks with Hong Kong Commercial and Maritime Law Centre (HKCML) to explore opportunities for collaboration and policy inputs. Representing the HKCML were: Prof. Alexander LOKE, Prof. Michael TSIMPLIS, Prof. Virginia HARPER-HO, and Prof. HE Tianxiang.
The discussion was wide-ranging and underpinned by the theme: how the law and legal infrastructure can enhance the competitiveness and attractiveness of Hong Kong. The subject included: green ports and maritime services, ESG, financial markets and services, artificial intelligence and intellectual property.
