As the LLM Programme Director, I am pleased to introduce the Postgraduate Certificate in Patent Law offered by the School of Law at City University of Hong Kong. As the first programme of its kind in Hong Kong to combine international and local patent law with systematic training in patent practice and management, this PgC is open to graduates from law, engineering, science, and technology. Through concentrated courses in patent drafting, procedures, litigation, and commercialisation, you will learn how to manage and review patent portfolios and support innovation across different industries. The programme offers flexibility through a part-time mode and a combined mode of study, together with a bridging course for applicants without a common law background. This structure allows you to build advanced skills in intellectual property law and practice flexibly. I warmly invite you to join us in Hong Kong for a rigorous, practice-based year at CityUHK School of Law.
