Nomination

Only Electors are entitled to be nominated or to put forward nominations. Each Elector may participate in the Election as either the proposer or a seconder for one nomination. The nominee cannot act as proposer or seconder for his/her own nomination.  

Nomination period will start from 13 October 2025, and should reach the Election Officer by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, 24 October 2025 via either of the following methods: 

• In person: General Office of Student Development Services (6/F, BOC) 

• By email: students.election@cityu.edu.hk  

Nominations will be accepted only on the official Nomination Form. For a nomination to be valid, it must be signed by the proposer and ten seconders, and the nominee shall sign to confirm his/her willingness to stand. Besides the biographical data in the nomination form, nominees or their proposers may also submit a Platform (refer to Campaign Guidelines 5.1) for circulation.
