Distinguished guests from various sectors will share their views and experience with 180 students on 3 May to help youngsters set goals, plan their futures, prepare to choose study programmes, and realise their dreams.
Mr Andrew Kam Min-ho, Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, will deliver a speech in the morning session on how he led his colleagues to deal with the financial crisis and the swine influenza crisis, and how he turned Disneyland Resort into a profitable business. He will also give youngsters advice on meeting challenges and fulfilling dreams. In the afternoon session, a number of guests will host a roundtable discussion for the students.
This is the fifth year that CityU has hosted the “Shaping Your Future: a Lifetime of Difference” programme. In addition to the talks and roundtable discussion, the participating students will visit CityU’s teaching and research facilities. College and school representatives will introduce their respective colleges, schools and departments, and talk about career and studying prospects.
