Five young academics at CityU have been awarded the Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Hong Kong and Macau) by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for 2023.
Speaking at a distinguished lecture at CityU on 6 October, Professor Jeffrey Sachs argued that new politics for sustainable development based on peaceful global cooperation are urgently needed to tackle the global crises we collectively face.
Congratulations to Professor Alfred Ho Tat-kei of CityU on his election as a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration. He is the only Fellow elected from Asia this year, emphasising the lead that CityU is taking in the field of public administration.
