Dr Jerry Yu, CIO, introduced CityU's strategic e-Learning project at an open forum on 5 May, with a straightforward account of the project's objective and its significance to the University community.
Direct applications for CityU's Research Degree, Taught Postgraduate, Bachelor's Degree and government-funded Associate Degree programmes will be accepted from 14 January onwards. This year, we have 14 new programmes.
City University's third annual WebCourse Fair 2003 kicked off on 14 January with a virtual exhibition showcasing the use of the Internet for teaching and learning. Around 30 teaching staff members shared online how they make use of audio-visual learning packages, online quizzes, self-assessment tools and 3D animations to stimulate students' interest.
If you're thinking of applying for admission to one of CityU's postgraduate programmes, you'll be happy to know that the application process just got easier. Beginning 15 February, the CityU prospectus website will include a feature that allows the submission of online applications. Currently the site offers downloadable applications.
