Professor Kuo Tei-wei, Lee Shau Kee Chair Professor of Information Engineering and Dean of the College of Engineering, has been awarded the Humboldt Research Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in recognition of his achievements as a pioneer in system and software designs of non-volatile memory.
The research achievements of staff and students from CityU’s College of Science and Engineering were showcased at the Discovery and Innovation Gala 2015 from 24 to 25 June.
Two pieces of research equipment will be purchased by CityU in collaboration with other local universities thanks to a grant worth over HK$12 million from the Research Grants Council.
