CityU has received funding worth RMB1.5m from the Ministry of Science and Technology for the development of a new high-performance titanium alloy.
CityU has broken into the top 50 in Engineering/Technology and Computer Sciences, according to the 2010 Academic Ranking of World Universities compiled by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Following approval from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the State Key Laboratory in Marine Pollution led by CityU was established to help address the pressing need to protect China’s marine environment and biological resources.
