Three CityU students formed the only Hong Kong team to earn a first prize in the 2009 China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modelling, outperforming more than 12,000 teams from Hong Kong, Macau and mainland universities.
A professor and his PhD student from the Department of Electronic Engineering at CityU received the best paper award at the Microwave and Millimetre-wave Symposium of China held in Ningbo in October.
