City University of Hong Kong is showcasing more than 50 projects at the Innovation Expo 05 to demonstrate how science, new technologies and applied research can improve the quality of people's lives.
ASTRI, the biggest R & D organization in Hong Kong, has agreed to license innovative computer software technology created by Dr Anthony Fong, Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering.
Officially opening this month, the Applied Research Gallery and the Patent Database offers the business community one-stop access to CityU's latest technologies and know-how. The Applied Research Gallery, initiated by the Technology Transfer Office (TTO), features an array of applied research work. This is another way TTO aims to promote technology transfer to industrial and business communities and seek collaboration opportunities.
