New member appointed to the CityU Council

An outstanding member of the business community has been appointed by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR to the Council of City University of Hong Kong (CityU), with effect from 1 February 2015 to 31 December 2017.

Dr Raymond Lee Man-chun, BBS, JP, is the Chairman of Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing Limited. He has over 19 years of operational experience in paper manufacturing.

An active participant in public service, Dr Lee is currently a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the Chairman of Centum Charitas Foundation, the Honorary President of the Kowloon region of the Scout Association of Hong Kong, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Friends of Hong Kong Association, among others.

He received the Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) from the HKSAR Government in 2005 and was named a Justice of the Peace (JP) in 2007. He received the Young Industrialist Award of Hong Kong in 2002 and was named one of the Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Young Persons Selection awardees in 2003.
