President visits Josai University in Japan

The President of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) discussed a range of academic cooperation and exchange opportunities during extensive meetings with the top management at Josai University Educational Corporation (JU) in Japan on a visit from 1–2 May.

Professor Way Kuo met with Professor Noriko Mizuta, Chancellor of JU, Professor Yasunori Morimoto, President of Josai University, and Professor Hakuo Yanagisawa, President of Josai International University, during the visit to JU campuses in Kioicho and Togane.

In addition, Professor Kuo delivered an interactive talk on nuclear energy and energy development from a reliability and sustainability point of view to 150 JU students, including international students.

Professor Liu Chain-tsuan, University Distinguished Professor at CityU, who accompanied Professor Kuo on the visit, was appointed Adjunct Professor of JU on the occasion.
