President greets CityU freshmen

Professor Way Kuo, President of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) welcomed new students at the Orientation Camp organised by the Students’ Union at Wu Kwai Sha Youth Village on 5 September. Over 800 new entrants to the 4-year and 3-year undergraduate programmes participated in the Orientation Camp under the theme “CityU Love”.

Professor Kuo was on hand to referee a tug-of-war, and he used his welcoming speech to urge the new students to enjoy their time at CityU and wished them every success in their future.

The O’Camp activities were designed to enhance students’ creative and independent thinking, and promote the concept of “loving yourself and others”.
