Shandong University and Nankai University Delegation Visits CityUHK School of Law
On 29 January 2026, a delegation of 17, comprising faculty representatives and students from Shandong University and Nankai University, visited the School of Law at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) for an academic exchange. The visit aimed to provide the students with a deeper understanding of the School’s curriculum structure, teaching approaches, and research environment.
Professor Zhu Guobin, Research Degree Coordinator of the School, delivered a welcome address and exchanged views with the faculty representatives from the two universities on the distinctive features and developments of their respective law schools. Subsequently, Professor Christopher To, Programme Director of Master of Laws in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution (LLMArbDR) programme, and Professor Rebecca Ong, Associate Programme Director of the Master of Laws (LLM) programme, introduced the key design and teaching characteristics of their respective programmes. During the Q&A session, the delegation students actively raised questions and gained further insights into the programmes' content and structure.
To offer a more comprehensive understanding of student life at the School, a number of LLM and PhD students from the CityUHK School of Law also participated in the event, sharing their learning experiences and research insights. The delegation students showed strong interest in the School’s programmes and learning environment, leading to a lively and engaging discussion on academic experiences and campus life. The visit concluded in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
2026年1月29日，由山東大學與南開大學教師及學生組成，共17人的代表團到訪香港城市大學（城大）法律學院進行學術交流。是次參訪旨在讓來訪學生深入了解本院的課程架構、教學模式及研究環境。
本院研究學位課程主任朱國斌教授代表學院致歡迎辭，並與兩校教師交流了各自法學院的發展特色。隨後，法學碩士（仲裁及爭議解決學）課程主任陶榮教授及法學碩士課程副主任Rebecca ONG教授，分別向同學介紹相關課程的設計重點與教學特色。在問答環節中，代表團學生積極提問，對課程內容及結構有更深入的認識。
為使來訪學生更全面了解本院學習生活，城大法律學院的博士生及法學碩士生代表亦有參與交流，分享修課經驗與研究心得。代表團學生對本院課程與學習氛圍展現濃厚興趣，雙方在交流環節中互動熱烈，就學習經歷與校園生活進行深入討論。訪問在輕鬆愉快的氣氛中圓滿結束。
