The Institute of Digital Medicine (IDM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) held its Annual General Meeting on 10 December, marking a significant milestone in its achievements over the past year in advancing digital healthcare research, technology transformation and industry collaboration.

With the rapid rise of emerging technologies such as AI, high-performance computing (HPC) and 5G, demand for improved chip performance and reliability continues to grow. A research team from City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) has been awarded funding under the “RAISe+ Scheme” to address the complex metallisation challenges in the packaging of 3D integrated circuit (3DIC) semiconductor chips.

In April 2024, City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) established the Institute of Digital Medicine (IDM), which is dedicated to fostering diverse collaboration in digital medicine and exploring cutting-edge technological solutions for the long-term benefit of patients. 

CityUHK held the inaugural Anniversary Dinner of the CityUHK Academy of Innovation (CAI) on 4 Nov 2025. Over 260 esteemed guests from government, industry, academia, as well as students, gathered to celebrate the CAI’s remarkable journey.
