The third InnoHK research cluster “SEAM@InnoHK” was officially launched on 1 September. Two research centres established by City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) in partnership with the University of Cambridge and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) have recently joined the SEAM@InnoHK. At the ceremony, the centres showcased their cutting-edge technologies, real-world applications, and future development plans, highlighting CityUHK’s global leadership in sustainable development, advanced manufacturing and materials science.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) recently held the HK Tech 300 National Start-up Competition (National Competition) 3rd Awards Ceremony and the Launch of the 4th Competition. Ten outstanding start-ups earned top honours among over 500 entries from Hong Kong and 12 Chinese Mainland cities for their innovations in new materials, digital health, semiconductors, AI and robotics. The competition clusters will expand to 16 Chinese Mainland cities in the 4th Competition.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) and Sichuan Cancer Hospital signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on 17 July to strengthen collaboration in life and health technologies by leveraging the medical and institutional resources of both regions. It will promote the industrialisation of oncology innovations and nurture top talent with international perspectives, thereby propelling the transformation of digital medicine solutions.
