CityUHK faculty, researchers and HK Tech 300 start-up teams excel at the 50th IEIG with 33 awards. City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) researchers excelled at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva (IEIG), securing 33 awards. Their achievements include one Special Prize, five Gold Medals with Congratulations of the Jury, nine Gold Medals, 16 Silver Medals, and two Bronze Medals. This remarkable success highlights CityUHK’s global leadership in high-calibre research and innovation. Professor Michael Yang Mengsu, Senior Vice-President (Innovation & Enterprise) and Yeung Kin Man Chair Professor of Biomedical Sciences, proudly extended his congratulations to all the award recipients for their achievements. He remarked that their accomplishments reflect CityUHK’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence on a global scale, as well as their dedication to making positive impacts on both Hong Kong society and the world.
