BMS Faculty Awarded Nine GRF/ECS Grants for 2026/2027

The Department of Biomedical Sciences (BMS) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) is delighted to announce another outstanding achievement in the Research Grants Council (RGC)’s 2026/2027 General Research Fund (GRF) and Early Career Scheme (ECS) exercise.

The GRF and ECS are highly competitive funding schemes administered by the RGC to support high-quality research conducted by scholars at Hong Kong’s UGC-funded universities. These awards recognise projects with strong scientific merit and significant potential to advance knowledge and generate research impact. This year’s success once again reflects the Department’s strengths across a broad spectrum of biomedical research.

We warmly congratulate the following Principal Investigators (PIs) on receiving these prestigious awards and extend our sincere appreciation to all colleagues who contributed to the preparation of high-quality research proposals.
