This annual Stanford list identifies the world’s most influential researchers based on citation metrics derived from the Scopus database. Scientists are evaluated using a composite c-score that accounts for career-long impact and, separately, research influence within the most recent year. Inclusion is determined by being among the top 100,000 researchers globally (with and without self-citations), or ranking within the top 2% of scholars in one’s specific field or subfield.

The Department recognises and applauds the faculty members listed for their significant research impact. Their sustained contributions reflect the department’s dedication to advancing biomedical science and cultivating a strong, innovative research culture.
