Professor Enshen Li Interviewed by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation

Professor Enshen LI from the School of Law at City University of Hong Kong was recently interviewed by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) regarding an Australian citizen arrested in the city on suspicion of carrying a possible weapon.

He commented on the possible prison sentences for possession of an offensive weapon in a public place under current Hong Kong criminal law. In a follow-up interview, Professor Li also addressed the bail status of the accused and additional charges of criminal damage. His remarks were quoted in the ABC report, 'Australian arrested in Hong Kong on suspicion of carrying possible weapon'.
