Russian Academic Delegation Visited CityUHK School of Law
The School of Law at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) welcomed a Russian delegation on 23 October 2026 for an academic exchange on comparative law and the School’s development.
The delegation included Professor Khabrieva Talia Yarulovna, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation, Professor Sevalnev Vyacheslav Viktorovich, Researcher, Acting Head of the Chinese Legislation Research Office, Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation, Mr. Song Jiale Doctoral Candidate, School of Law, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Dr. Long Guanmin, Researcher, Hong Kong Institute for International Legal Studies.
Professor Virginia Harper Ho, Associate Dean for Research and International Relations, welcomed the visitors and delivered the opening remarks. Professor Wang Jiangyu, Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Chinese Mainland Relations, introduced the history and development of SLW, followed by Professor Ding Chunyan, Director of the Centre for Chinese and Comparative Law (CCCL), who presented an overview of the Centre’s development.
The visit included an open academic dialogue on comparative law, providing an opportunity to exchange perspectives and deepen mutual understanding of the institutions’ academic work.
香港城市大學（城大）法律學院於2026年10月23日接待俄羅斯代表團，雙方就比較法研究及學院發展進行學術交流。 代表團成員包括俄羅斯科學院院士、俄羅斯聯邦政府立法與比較法研究所所長哈布裡耶娃·塔莉婭·雅魯洛夫娜教授；俄羅斯聯邦政府立法與比較法研究所研究員兼中國立法研究室署理主任謝瓦利涅夫·維亞切斯拉夫·維克托羅維奇（謝凱）教授；中國社會科學院大學法學院博士研究生宋家樂先生；以及香港中國涉外法治研究院研究員龍冠敏博士。 城大法律學院副院長（研究及國際關係）郝唯真教授歡迎代表團到訪，並致開幕辭。隨後，副院長（研究生教務與中國內地關係）王江雨教授介紹法律學院的歷史與發展，中國法與比較法研究中心主任丁春艷教授則介紹中心的發展概況。 訪問期間，雙方就比較法展開了開放的學術對話，交流觀點，並加深對彼此學術工作的了解。
