City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Press and The Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) jointly organised a seminar titled “Protecting Personal Data Privacy – Challenges and Opportunities in the Digital Era” on 10 June, attracting about 120 participants. At the seminar, Ms Ada CHUNG Lai-ling of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (Privacy Commissioner), Professor ZHU Guobin of the School of Law of CityUHK, and Ms Joanne WONG, Assistant Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (Compliance, Global Affairs and Research) of the PCPD were invited to share their insights about the protection of personal data privacy in the digital era.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Press has launched two special corners at the Commercial Press in Tsim Sha Tsui and Sha Tin. From May 12 to July 12, 2025, these corners will showcase a curated selection of various publications,including CityUHK 30th Anniversary Commemorative Book, CityU Signature Series, Academic and Professional Books, cultural studies, and literature. This initiative aims to disseminate knowledge and creative works by engaging the community in reading.

Over 120 Strive and Rise alumni, government officials, academic leaders, and industry experts explored youth innovation and entrepreneurship pathways during a special seminar that City University (CityUHK) hosted on 10 May.
The “Venture into Your Future @ CityUHK cum CityU TechVenture Series Seminar” was organised by CityUHK Press in collaboration with the Strive and Rise Alumni Club and supported by the Grace Yu Ho Wun Youth Development Fund.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Press has launched a specialty corner near the number 74 bookshelf in Cosmos Books (Wan Chai), which is located in the basement of 30 Johnston Road. This corner will be open from March 17 to June 16, 2025. The bookshelf features a curated selection of best-sellers, cultural studies titles, professional and academic books, as well as unique souvenirs. This initiative aims to enrich readers' knowledge and aesthetic experience, thereby enhancing both their reading materials and lifestyle.
